Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is hydrophilic, meaning it attracts and retains water from your body, allowing Profhilo to function as a hydrator rather than a filler. This makes it ideal for revitalising tired, dull skin, transforming it into firm and radiant skin within just 3-5 days after treatment. 

In the following weeks, Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin production, leading to a secondary skin tightening effect. This is particularly beneficial as levels of collagen, elastin, and Hyaluronic Acid in the skin significantly decrease after the age of 30, resulting in signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and lackluster skin. Profhilo works to counteract some of these changes, with maximum results typically observed two months after the second treatment.
